What Artanis is lacking of in crowd-control is justified by the raw survivability it has, all thanks to its auto-popping shield that keeps him onto his feet while in a head to head match to any hero. Artanis actually have that serious burst damage that is very perfect when trying to isolate strong enemy hero. This makes it possible for his allies to work on obliterating them.
When using Artanis in a clash battle, things can go so fast and also, fanatic. And in an effort for keeping your shield cooldown low, it will be necessary to take some chip basic shots on your enemy hero. On the other hand, you must be wary as well with your positioning as it makes your hero vulnerable without this skill. You have to open your eyes wide for targets while on the in-game battle to check which enemy you can take next for the burst damage. In the event that the clash is going against your team, this can be used in creating a good escape. And with Purifier Beam, it is going to prevent the low health opponents to get back home safe, giving you a chance to get kills.
If you aren’t stuck into fight with your friends, you can use your hero’s innate strengths in dealing with the Mercenary Camps and map objectives or to just clear down a lane that is not receiving enough attention from the team. Those extra pushes can actually make a difference and you don’t want missing any XP.
There are several Artanis gaming build but the standard build is one of the most popular that you can try.
Level 1. Reactive Parry – as you activate Twin Blades, this will reduce the damage that is received from next basic hero attack by 50 percent and it is able to store up to 2 charges.
Level 4. Templar’s Zeal – when you are currently 50 percent health or below, this will make your Blade Dash cooldown to recharge faster by 75 percent.
Level 7. Psionic Synergy – every single time Blade Dash hits another hero, it is reducing the Shield Overload cooldown by 4 seconds.
Level 10. Purifier Beam – target enemy heroes with orbital beam from Spear of Adun which deals 404dps for the last 8 seconds.
Level 13. Phase Bulwark – after you activate the Shield Overload, you will take 50 percent less damage from skills in the next 3 seconds.
Level 16. Zealot Charge – while Twin Blades is activated, you’re basically charging a short distance to your target.
Level 20. Target Purified – if you get to kill a hero by using Purifier Beam, it will automatically recast to the nearest enemy Hero.
Before you take Artanis in the battlefield, it will be very smart of you to practice his abilities first.
